It’s been almost a year that Degrassi Daily has been around, and what an amazing time that’s been. It’s hard to put into words how much this RP means to us mods. It’s rare that you find such a group of talented, dedicated writers, and I’m glad for every moment I got to spend getting to know you all. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. After a long, emotional conversation, we’ve decided (and it was an extremely hard decision to make) that it’s time for DD to close.

DD was more than an RP in the regular sense. We were a family, a group of close-knit people who honestly love each other and didn’t deal in drama or gossip. We consider ourselves so blessed to have been a part of something magical like this. The drop in activity and the extenuating circumstances for some of our members have been major parts in the decision to close down, but that doesn’t mean you should view it as a death. We’re closing while we’re still on a high, and we happen to think that’s for the best. 

Instead of letting people continue to be inactive and the RP slowly fading, we’re trying our best to keep our dignity and make a formal announcement. Every single one of you was an integral part of this RP, and we hope you feel accomplished for being a part of such an amazing team. Thank you to each and every one of you for being a part of Degrassi Daily. Who knows? Maybe we’ll run into each other again, but we endlessly appreciate you all for making DD what it was. It sure has been an amazing ride.
